Sheets
We supply aluminium sheets, plates or coils of a different grade, primarily the 1100 alloy series. Apart from plates, foils, rolls (25/50 metres in length) and threaded plates are available. Upon specific requests, 5052 alloy series are available as well, catering to niche markets such as the marine industry.
Aluminium sheets can serve a variety of purposes and are typically used as a layering sheet that offers protection. For example, tables can be lined with aluminium sheets or kitchen walls lined with it to protect from the heat or fumes of the stove. In factories, these sheets are useful as insulation material to guard against hot items. In commercial buildings, aluminium sheets are often used by the maintenance team to restore or renovate. Due to its ease of craftsmanship, aluminium sheets can also be shaped into various shapes such as name plates, name tags, traffic signs etc. Embossed/treaded sheets come with treaded surface which is useful to prevent slips and double up as a protective layer against impact. For example, in boats where surfaces can be slippery, the aluminium treaded sheets are often used to provide grip and it is resistant to corrosion too. In daily uses, treaded sheets are installed in car parks, loading bays or even on edges of trailers, trucks and heavy vehicles so as to minimise impact of unwanted or unforeseen crashes.
Variants of the aluminium sheets also include embossed aluminium sheets and Zincalume sheets. Embossed aluminium sheets is primarily used for insulation as it does not rust and is easy to work with. It is commonly wrapped around an insulating layer such as rockwool or glasswool. Zincalume sheets on the other hand, are known for its strength and at the same time, its resistance to corrosion. Zincalume is popular for roofing solutions. For specific sizes and dimensions, please contact us here.
